The Dakota RoughRiders now offer membership benefits. You can get all the detail on our membership page.
I would like to say to all the Dakota RoughRiders thank you so much for making the Roundup such a wonderful three-day cowboy shoot. Thanks for all your help, it was a SUCCESS. Also, a big thank you to all the shooters that traveled from out of town to join us for our first Roundup. We also have to say thank you to all the volunteers that helped and finally, we have to say a big thank you to Myriam (Thunder Wolf) for all the work that she did in designing and putting all the shooter packets together and also putting up our Roundup website. This whole thing would not be possible without all of your help so from the bottom of my heart: THANK YOU!
Mike “Rod-Iron-Rip” Ripplinger
To all BMPRA members:
We are looking for volunteers to help serve meals at the Roughrider Roundup during Labor Day weekend (August 29-31).
It’s an easy way to get your eight hours of volunteer time in!
If you’re interested, please contact Rod-Iron-Rip (Mike Ripplinger) at (701) 223-3085 and leave a message, or send him an email.
Take note that this Saturday’s Cowboy Action Shooting Match will be held at the Fried Family Marksmanship Complex. We will also have some Wild Bunch stages setup. Wild Bunch will start at 11:00 a.m. and Cowboy Action at 1:00 p.m.
We will have our next meeting at the indoor range on March 29. Breakfast will be served at 8:30 a.m. and the meeting will follow.
Wild Bunch matches will resume when we start shooting at the outdoor range, either in April or May, depending on the weather. Keep an eye on the calendar. Joyce “Owl Eye Olga” Aasmundstad will be the contact person for these matches. Her contact information can be found on the Contact Us page.
Our calendar of events is finalized for the year, which means you can download and print our 2014 Cowboy Action Shooting Schedule.
